Pantone announced that emerald green would be the color of the year for 2013, and the fashion industry definitely followed suit.  From clothing, shoes, bags, and jewelry, this lush jewel tone is popping up everywhere, and we are not complaining. Emerald is a radiant hue that pairs perfectly with the rich tones of fall.  But does emerald green look good on everyone? If you have a tanned skin with golden undertones, opt for a lighter emerald with yellow tones to it, like the Mango blouse or the Catherine Malandrino jumpsuit. If you’re coloring is more pale and you have pink undertones, try the trend in a darker hue with blue tones to it, such as the J.Crew loafer or Chloe wallet. If you’re still hesitant, try the rich hue in an understated necklace or watch.
